The information on these page sets out the Terms & Conditions for using and purchasing from the craisymissdaisy website.  By accessing and purchasing from our website you agree to be bound by these terms.  If you do not agree to any part of the terms and conditions, then you may not access or use our website.

Craisymissdaisy reserves the right to change or replace these terms and conditions, other policies/terms and conditions at any time.

Craisymissdaisy: Craisymissdaisy is a UK based website specialising in iron-on letters & numbers, bunting and other handmade items and notebooks/journals, by Billy & Ralph, which is a brand of craisymissdaisy.   

Disclaimer: I make all of the items on the website myself and wouldn’t send out anything that I wouldn’t want to receive myself.

GDPR/PRIVACY POLICY

‘craisymissdaisy’  is the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my website.   When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address, email address.  I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have relating to that order.

The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:

  • With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
  • To comply with legal or tax obligations.
  • Mailing list where you have subscribed to my newsletter

I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for four years. 

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted.   If you pay for your order with Paypal, your data will be protected by PayPal’s privacy policy.  All credit card transactions are powered by Stripe and protected by Stripe’s privacy policy.  ‘craisymissdaisy’ does not not collect any of your personal credit card data.

PRODUCTS

Pricing:I make every effort to ensure all of the product pricing is correct.  However, there may be occasions when an incorrect price is shown.  In the event that this happens I reserve the right to cancel any sale and restock at the correct price.

Fabric for Iron-on Letters/Numbers:  I only keep a small amount of fabric stock for iron-on letters and numbers, some of which is now discontinued.  In the event that I don’t have enough fabric to complete your order I will notify you by email so you can choose a replacement fabric.

ORDERS

Completed Items/Orders: As each order varies in items, colours and fabrics I now take detailed photographs of each completed order to assist with any queries that may arise once the order has been received.

Order Emails: When you place an order with ‘craisymissdaisy’ and during the duration of the order until completion, you will receive several website generated emails.  I will also email you separately to confirm a rough time scale of when your order will be sent, as well as an email confirming the tracking number for shipping.  I may also need to email you if I am unable to process your order due to missing address/other information relating to your order (see below).

Missing Information:  If any information is missing from your order and I am unable to process it I will email you several times over the course of a week requesting this information. If I haven’t received a reply within 7 days of receipt of your order I will contact you once more to confirm that your order will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.

Order Cancellation: If you wish to cancel an order you must do so within 1 hour or purchase.  If your order has already shipped please refer to the main return policy on how to return your item.  This does not apply to ‘made to order’ or ‘personalised’ items.  Buyer is responsible for paying return postage to return the item.  

Order Processing Times: I will always aim to post your order as soon as I can within 1-3 working days of receiving your order.  I only post Monday to Friday and do not post on weekends or UK public holidays.   If for any reason there is going to be a delay I will email you to let you know.  Processing times for made to order/custom items time are slightly different as custom items take longer to make but I will confirm the timescale with you at the time of ordering

PAYMENTS

Immediate Payment: All orders require immediate payment and orders will not be sent until full payment has been received.  If payment is made by PayPal and an echeque payment is received, the order will not be shipped until the echeque payment has cleared.

Payment Methods: Payments are accepted by Stripe (credit cards) and PayPal. craisymissdaisy does not not collect any of your personal credit card data. Please refer to the main GDPR/Privacy Policy.

Custom Order Payments: If you have requested a custom order payment must be made in full before I start working on your order.

SAFETY & CARE

Safety Notice: The ‘craisymissdaisy  products on this website are not toys. They are therefore not suitable for babies, young children, adults or animals to play with and should be kept out of reach at all times.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Change of mind/cancellations that have already shipped (excluding made to order/personalised items) – If for any reason you change your mind and wish to return an item from my website, including cancellations that have already been shipped, (excluding memory books and personalised/custom orders) please email me within 14 days of receipt of the item to notify me of your return.  Once I have received your email I will provide you with the information needed to return your item.  Please note the following:-

  • You must return your item within 14 days of notifying me of your return.  Any items received after this time will not be eligible for a refund.
  • You must also notify me via email of the date the returned item was shipped. 
  • Buyer pays return postage (this includes cancelled orders) 
  • Items must be returned in the condition that it was received in and in either the original packaging/or packaged as well as the original packaging.  If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value, which will be deducted from the final price before the refund is issued.
  • A refund will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the return.  It is advisable to use either a signed for (UK) or tracked service (international) and obtain proof of posting to return your item, as a refund will not be issued until the returned items have been received.
  • Returns are only accepted from the original purchaser/buyer.   Any items received as gifts will not be eligible for returns by the recipient and will need to be returned by the original buyer.
  • Returns are only accepted on items that were purchased on ‘ready to ship’ items and are not accepted for ‘made to order’, ‘custom made’ or ‘personalised items’ (please see the Custom orders/made to order/personalised and memory books paragraph below.

Faulty Items:

If there is a problem with your item and you think it may be faulty please contact me immediately upon receipt to let me know what the problem is.  I will need to see photographic evidence of the fault, which should be sent via email within 14 days of receipt.

  • Once I have seen photographic evidence I will check it against the completed order photographs I hold for each order to confirm the condition and that it hasn’t been altered or tampered with in any way.  If it is confirmed that there is a fault, I will contact you with the details of where to send the return, which must be returned to me within 14 days.
  • Items must be returned in the condition that it was received in and in either the original packaging/or packaged as well as the original packaging.  If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value, which will be deducted from the final price. 
  • You must also notify me via email of the date the returned item was shipped.  It is advisable to use either a signed for (UK) or tracked service (international) and obtain proof of postage to return your item, as a refund will not be issued until the returned items have been received.
  • Buyer pays return postage.  However, if the item is found to be faulty the return postage will be refunded. 
  • Once I have received the faulty item back a replacement will be sent.  If it isn’t possible to send a replacement for the same item you purchased then an alternative item will be discussed with you or a refund will be issued.

Please note that any item which states ‘Faulty Sample’ in the main title/description are exempt from returns as any defects will be detailed in the listing.   ‘Returns not Accepted’ will be shown on these listings.

Custom orders/made to order/personalised and memory books: 

In accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations ‘made to order’, ‘custom made orders’ and personalised items are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulation return policy. 

This applies to Custom Orders, Made to Order Items, personalised items and Memory Books and for any items where you choose your own paper, card or any other fabric/criteria to make up your item.  This also applies if you have requested that craisymissdaisy choose the fabric, felt or items on your behalf.

‘Returns not Accepted’ will be shown on all items that are exempt from returns.

SHIPPING T&C’S

All orders are shipped via a tracked service from within the UK.  At the moment I am unable to send any orders overseas and shipping is UK only.

Iron-on Letters/Numbers Orders – I will aim to post your order as soon as I can within 1-3 days after receipt of your order.  I always try to post orders quickly, however, if for any reason there is going to be a delay, I will contact you via email to let you know. 

  • Iron-on Letters/Numbers orders are a flat rate of £2.90 (1st class signed for), however, if other, heavier, items are purchased at the same time, the heavier postage will apply.

Larger orders may take longer but the timescale for these will be discussed with you prior to purchase.

Other Items – Shipping is calculated by weight and value and all orders are shipped using a tracked service.  This is usually Royal Mail, however, other companies may be used where necessary to keep costs down.

For very large orders please contact me first so I can find the best value shipping cost.  In some cases I may need to split your order into separate parcels to obtain the best price.

Shipping times will vary depending on the item purchased but a timescale will be discussed with you at the time of ordering.

Delays: All shipping times are approximate and although the majority of items posted within the UK arrive within a few days, it can take a little longer in some areas due to staff shortages because of Covid.

Damaged Items: All of my items are packaged securely.  If your item has been damaged in transit please contact me immediately so I can investigate further.  Photographic evidence of the damage will be required, which should be sent via email within 14 days of receipt of your order. Once I have seen photographic evidence and confirmed the damage with Royal Mail/other courier a replacement will be sent.

Non Delivery: All of the items on my website are sent using a tracked service. All of the labels have barcodes which when scanned give GPS coordinates.  In the event that your item doesn’t arrive please contact me and I will investigate further.

To ensure safe delivery of your order:

  • Please make sure that your address details are correct before purchase as I will only ship to the name and address supplied at the time of ordering.  There is an option at checkout to select delivery to an alternative address.
  • If the address supplied is incorrect then unfortunately I cannot be held responsible for non delivery.

If your order is returned to me due to non delivery to an incorrect address, or hasn’t been collected from a sorting office:-

  • I will refund your order minus postage costs (except for made to order/personalised items/memory books which are exempt from returns under the UK Distance Selling Regulations).  
  • Re-send your order to the correct address but only after additional postage charges have been paid.

Customs/Import Duties:

I am currently only shipping within the UK.  However, in the event that I do start shipping overseas, I am unable to mark international orders as gifts and any custom fees and import duties due are payable by the recipient. 

Please check the import duties/sales taxes for your country before ordering, as some countries have a very low threshold.
