I’ve created this page to keep you up-to-date of the latest news from craisymissdaisy, as I realise not everyone has, or likes, social media. There’s always quite a lot going on behind the scenes so please keep checking back to see what’s going on.

February 2024 (latest news)

10th February 2024 – It’s been a while since my last update, so what’s changed? Well… it’s time to close another chapter as I say goodbye to iron-on letters, numbers and alphabets. All that remains of the old craisymissdaisy, applique wise, are felt advent numbers and snowflakes. It’s been a really hard decision but I think it’s the right time to move on and make way for something new. I’ve got two projects to complete then I can start working on the big felt project that I have been working on and planning for so long, I can’t wait!

May 2023

1st May – The first part of this year has been a period of change. I have been struggling for a long time to find time to work on new projects so at the start of the year I realised that something had to give. I switched my etsy shop to felt only and have now decided to take the website that way too. Fabric letters have been a big part of my life for the past 12 years and I am so very grateful for them but it’s now time to close that chapter and start a new one.

So what does the new chapter look like? Well…felt will be playing a huge part in it. I love working with felt and I will still be making felt letters, numbers, snowflakes and advent numbers. I have a couple of new alphabets to bring you very soon as well as a little mini project I think you’ll like. I also have a really big felt project that I have been working on for such a long time and I am looking forward to finishing that and sharing it with you too but not just yet!

The website has also had a little makeover. It’s very much the same style as my Billy & Ralph website, which was quite intentional, but it’s now a lot simpler and easy to use. This year is all about simplifying things and freeing up time to do more of the things that I love. I’ve still got a way to go on that one but I’m getting there!

So back to Billy & Ralph (the two cuties at the top of this page). For those of you that don’t know, one of my passions is notebooks. For various reasons the notebook side of things has taken a bit of a back seat lately. I have really missed making notebooks and can’t wait to get back to it so once the website makeover is complete I will, hopefully, be ready and raring to go – although I think I may have to sort the craft room out first!

2022

August 2022

14th August – For craisymissdaisy I’ve been a little busy updating some of the floral fabrics. I was running low on quite a few and one in particular has been discontinued, although I have found a nice green floral to go in it’s place. I’m working on a few websites updates at the moment and hope to bring you a new felt product in the next few weeks.

For Billy and Ralph the notebooks are coming thick and fast. I now have the patterned notebooks up on the website and am working on another new product, which is almost there but as with anything I make, there’s always a lot of tweaking that goes on before I launch it to the world!

The heat is cooling a bit now but enjoy the rest of the summer.

May 2022

1st May – Well once again it’s been a while since my last post but my focus this year has been on my other project for my notebooks and journals, so craisymissdaisy has taken a little bit of a back seat. The good news is that the Billy & Ralph website is finally up and running. It’s taken a lot longer than I’d hoped but it’s finished and the website shop is now open. I am still working on craisymissdaisy, although I will be taking things in a slightly different direction but more about that another time. First I need to go and catch up on all the things that I have pushed to one side in the past few months, which unfortunately includes the ironing!

January 2022

21st January – It’s been a while since my last post but as often happens in the latter part of a year the Christmas rush begins and time runs away with me. I had a much needed break over Christmas and after a bit of a slow start to the new year and a few technical hitches I am ready to go.

So let me introduce you to Billy & Ralph, the two little cuties that are the face of my new notebooks and journals website, in fact they are so cute they get a website of their own! I’m still continuing with iron on letters and all the other crafty bits I do but notebooks & journals are a real passion of mine and something that I have been working on for a few years now. September 2021

26th September – I took up swimming again about 4 months ago but I am out of action at the moment due to an inflamed ear. I’ve been using my time wisely and have just created a YouTube channel to share my creative journey with you. I’m a little camera shy and YouTube is way out of my comfort zone, but I think that’s probably a good thing!
