Craisymissdaisy is a UK based handicraft website specialising in felt iron-on advent numbers & snowflakes, as well as bunting, notebooks & journals. The notebooks & journals are on my other website Billy & Ralph .
How it all began
Hi, I’m Deanne and I have always loved sewing and crafting. One of my earliest memories of sewing, apart from sewing my project to my skirt, is making a binca square with lots of different colour stitches in the infants at primary school. I think I was only around 5 or 6 but from then I was hooked.
I started craisymissdaisy around 2011 when I was looking for some letters to iron-on to some Christmas sacks but I couldn’t find what I was looking for. I found the perfect letters, discovered some wonderfully pretty fabrics and so the journey began.
The story so far
The Cottage Chic 5 cm letters were the letters that started it all. I remember spending forever looking at which fabrics to use but decided that some from the Tanya Whelan Darla collection would compliment them perfectly. I also added a couple of felt colours, a few mixed patterned fabrics and over the years I increased the number of alphabets I had, as well as the selection of fabrics and felts.
A few years into my journey I started to make bunting as well. I made my first piece of bunting as a thank you present for my Son’s teacher and for friends and family. It’s still fun to make and I love that no two pieces are the same. After the bunting came the website and after that came the notebooks, which is where the craisymissdaisy story began to change.
Where am I now - 2026?
Over the past few years I have focused on felt advent numbers and snowflakes, as I wanted to free up some time for other projects. I am just coming out of the other side of a huge creative block but now the spark is back and I have lots of ideas that I’m hoping to bring you soon.
