The photographs on the left show the fabric options for this applique. Grab a cup of tea, have a look through and once you have made a note of the fabrics you would like please enter the details into the form below.
All the other information you need for ordering can be found in the ‘Information/Help with Ordering’ tab under the photographs.
£1.10
Bird #2 is a medium sized applique.
This applique has a cutting line which is used to define the wing of the bird. You can use it to stitch along and add definition to your applique.
You are welcome to choose from any of the above fabrics for your appliques.
If you don’t wish to choose your own selection of fabrics, a general selection of fabrics or the fabric shown on main photograph will be sent.
Please note that felt is for decorative purposes only and cannot be washed either by machine or by hand. You can give it a light cleaning by brushing it, using tape or a lint roller to remove dirt and dust, and wiping it clean with a dry cloth.
Some of the brighter and darker felt colours may bleed onto the ironing cloth when applying your applique. This is completely normal due to the dye in the felt, however, it won’t bleed onto the surrounding fabric, only the ironing cloth.
1.In the ‘Order Form’ above please select which ‘fabric applique colour scheme’ you would like.
2.Enter the fabrics for your appliques into the ‘final order details’ box, for example:-
One fabric for all appliques
SP001, red spot x 5
Different fabrics for each applique
SP001, red spot x 1
PL003, yellow plain x 2
FL001, yellow open rose x 2
3.Add the TOTAL items to the ‘Basket’.
I have made every effort to show the correct colour of the fabrics and felts in each photograph but please be aware that colour monitors do vary.
In order to comply with UK and International law I am unable to mark international orders as gifts.
Any custom fees and import duties due are payable by the buyer.
Please check the threshold limit of your country before ordering as some countries have a very low amount for items that are imported from overseas.
If the number or numbers you require have more than one digit ie. 10, then each digit of the number must be included as a seperate digit:-
For the number 1 you would need to order ONE digit
For the number 10 you would need to order TWO digits
For the number 150, you would need to order THREE digits
For the number 2017 you would need to order FOUR digits
For dates, ie. 16.07.2017 you would need to order EIGHT digits
Dots or dashes for dates are supplied free of charge when part of an order.
I always try to process orders as soon as I can, however, this may take slightly longer for Alphabets, larger orders and during busy periods, especially the run up to Christmas.
If there is going to be a delay or I don’t have a particular fabric in stock, I will notify you to let you know, together with an update of the processing time.
2-5 business days
1-2 weeks
1-3 weeks (Starter Books)
3-6 weeks (Complete Books)
As agreed at time of ordering
I will now be posting orders twice a week but as the post is still relatively slow I will continue to send all UK and overseas orders via a tracked service. I will review this again once there is further guidance from the UK Government.
Orders are shipped from the UK. Once dispatched approximate shipping times are generally as follows, however these timings will be longer during the Covid-19 crisis due to extra demand on postal services around the world:-
All UK, European and International orders are are shipped via Royal Mail from the UK.
Shipping for Applique orders is calculated by weight and value and currently being sent using a tracked service.
Shipping for Bunting, Memory Books and Wedding Stationery is calculated by weight and value and orders to all destinations will require a signed for or tracked service . The shipping cost will be calculated at checkout.
Please make sure that your address details are correct before purchase as I will only ship to the name and address supplied at the time of ordering, as there is an option to select delivery to an alternative address. If the address supplied is incorrect then unfortunately I cannot be held responsible for non delivery.
Although the majority of items posted from the UK to International destinations do arrive very quickly it can sometimes take 3-4 weeks for your item to arrive at it’s destination, especially in adverse weather conditions and the run up to Christmas.
I am happy to post internationally, however for some countries it may be necessary to use an International Tracked service which is considerably more expensive. If your country isn’t shown then please contact me for a shipping quote.
I am unable to mark international orders as gifts and any custom fees and import duties due are payable by the buyer.
Please check the import duties for your country before ordering, as some countries have a very low threshold.
Iron on fabric letters & numbers are suitable for ironing onto various materials including; cotton, poly cotton, fleece, felt (see below), canvas, paper/card, wood and towels. If there are any materials or surfaces that are not listed here please contact me and I will try to test it for you.
If ironing onto shiny fabrics (like school book/pe bags) and fabrics with a ‘pile’ or uneven surface, items that are going to hold heavy items like bags/Christmas sacks/stocking, t-shirts, sweatshirts, onesies, clothing etc. then I would recommend sewing or stitching around the edges to secure your appliques.
Felt Care Information
Please note that felt is for decorative purposes only and cannot be washed either by machine or by hand. You can give it a light cleaning by brushing it, using tape or a lint roller to remove dirt and dust, and wiping it clean with a dry cloth.
Some of the brighter and darker felt colours may bleed onto the ironing cloth when applying your applique. This is completely normal due to the dye in the felt, however, it won’t bleed onto the surrounding fabric, only the ironing cloth.
I have made every effort to show the correct colour of the fabrics in the photographs, however, please be aware that colour monitors, phone and tablet screens do vary.
As each order varies in items, colours and fabrics I now take a photograph of each completed order to assist with any queries that may arise once the order has been received.
I am happy to choose the fabrics for your applique or bunting order, however, please note that that these items cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged if you don’t like the selection of fabrics that I have chosen, as the option to select the fabrics you required was available before, during and immediately after placing your order.
As the majority of craisymissdaisy’s items are ‘made to order’, in accordance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations ‘made to order’ items are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulation return policy. This applies to all ‘Custom Orders’ and any ‘made to order’ items and where you (or craisymissdaisy) choose your own fabrics for each letter, number, applique and bunting flags.
Any personalised letters, numbers and appliques that are ‘made to order’ are exempt from the distance selling regulations return policy. If there is a fault with your applique a replacement will be provided.

**** ORDER PROCESSING TIMES ***** I am now open again for UK orders but due to the UK lockdown and homeschooling I am only able to post orders 1-2 times a week.
